The Illusion of Stability in the Face of the Problem of Recurrence
Technological progress and research have developed new therapeutic resources. New treatment methods aim to increase stability, promote arch development, and bone adaptation, but still many cases suffer some degree of postreatment relapse one of the main problems after orthodontic treatment. The question is, has the tremendous technological progress really improved stability expectations in orthodontics ?
