The presentation will look to systems and approaches that have been evolving in general health over the last couple of decades and their basis for use in dentistry to improve Quality. Dentists in all countries are all striving for quality in our care provision models and this presentation will look at the applicability of different models in different areas and provide some insights into key areas that are globally applicable. Professor Tennant will share some of his personal experiences in this diversity. The impact of a focus on quality on health care costs will be canvassed and discussed.
