Dr. Jos Welie studied medicine, philosophy and law and is currently a Professor of Health Care Ethics at Creighton University (Omaha, USA). He is the Founding Secretary of the International Dental Ethics and Law Society, taught dental ethics for some fifteen years, and published extensively on topics in dental ethics, including an edited volume entitled “Justice in Oral Health Care – Ethical and Educational Perspectives”.
