The Peri-Implant Diseases Project (PIDP) is a partnership between FDI and the International Congress of Implantologists (ICOI) with the following objectives:
• increasing global awareness of periodontal health (POH);
• raising POH priority at a national level;
• integrating oral and periodontal health into general health policies.

During this session, the four areas of the project will be presented:
• Identification of risk patients and selection of candidates for oral implants
• Selection of an implant, proper placement and restoration to limit risks for periimplant disease
• Diagnosis, prevention and non-surgical management of peri-implant diseases
• Surgical treatment of peri-implantitis
