Dr. Kakuhiro Fukai Kakuhiro Fukai, D.D.S., Ph.D., is director of the Fukai Institute of Health Science. He also serves as chair of the FDI Oral Health for Ageing Population Task Team, visiting professor at Kanagawa Dental University, visiting researcher at Japan’s National Institute of Public Health, director of the 8020 Promotion Foundation, and vice president of the Japanese Society for Oral Health. His research activities focus on global oral health and the link between oral and systemic health.
