Celiac disease is a disorder produced by a genetic alteration at the level of chromosome 14; but for the disease to manifest itself, the hereditary factor and the consumption of toxic proteins that are presented in some foods must be presented simultaneously. Knowing the oral characteristics in carriers of this pathology turns out to be a challenge, as well as to determine signs presented in the dental pieces, and to discriminate from other pathological situations that may be responsible for these anomalies.
